1st QTR:
Holy Cow!
The Scott County Central players must have slammed a few cases of Redbull...They have wings! The Braves lead Newtown-Harris 34-14 at the end of the first quarter (just three off the record of 37 set by Riverview Gardens in 1993).
2nd QTR:
The Braves have set a new MSHSA Final Four record for points in a half with 64, breaking the record of 56 set by Greenwood in a 1991 class 1A semifinal game against Wellington-Napoleon.
Halftime Score:
Scott County Central 64
Newtown-Harris 35
Ottor Porter is perfect from the field 8-8 with 18 points. Drew Thomas has 22 points and Bobby Hatchett has 20.
The Braves have made as many shots (27) as Newtown-Harris has taken (27).
3rd QTR:
The Braves keep the foot on the gas pedal... Leading 83-51. Bobby Hatchett leads all scorers wtih 27.
I think it's safe to plan the Championship party!

4th QTR:
It's a final...
Scott County Central wins the Class 1 State Championship 98-63 over Newtown-Harris.
