For all you Jefferson City, MO / Texas Longshorns / Cincinnati Reds Fans pitcher:It appears the Reds had recalled pitcher Sam LeCure from triple -A- Louisville and will put him on the mound to start Saturday against the Houston Astros.
Johnny Cueto is under the weather and could miss his scheduled start so LeCure looks to be the next man to take the mound.
In six starts this season LeCure is 1-4 with a 4.86 era. In 33 1/3 innongs this season he has allowed 37 hits while walking 20 and striking our 22.
He last made a start for the Reds in a 15-6 victory over Houston on May 28 and picked up the win ending his four game losing streak.
