A former jackson high school football stand out will play his college ball close to home next year.
Indians athletic director john martin tells kfvs 12 sports that linebacker blake peiffer has verbally committed to play at southeast missouri state.
Peiffer was jacksons leading tackler and also played some offensive line.
He expected to sign a letter of intent next week.
Peiffer is also a top rated state wrestler in the 215 pound weight class

Can you confirm if Semo is recruiting any other players from Southeast Missouri or Southern Illinois? It is sad that the signing day is Wednesday and as a Semo fan you can't get any info because Semo doesn't offer any. I just wonder if Semo has a player transferring in like Jack. State had with Ryan Perilloux. It would be nice to get a kid that grabs national headlines.
